European Citizens’ Worries and Self-Responsibility towards Climate Change

Attitudes and perceptions about climate change (CC) are crucial to public engagement support in the promotion of mitigating actions sustainable lifestyles embracing United Nations’ development goals. This study aimed investigate how worried European citizens CC, what is their willingness assume self-responsibility its mitigation. We used Social Survey, namely answers questions “How you change?” “To extent do feel a personal responsibility try CC?” have related them with demography individual perception society policies. fit two statistical models each studied found following: Model 1—people that trust scientists more people satisfied national government women CC than men, older educated also CC; 2—Women higher levels self-responsibility, when economy health system country, responsibility.
